Pietra Ligure is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria, located about southwest of Genoa and about southwest of Savona. Mainly touristic city, as of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,101 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Pietra Ligure contains the ''frazione'' (subdivision) Ranzi.
